Description

The Sault Community Theatre Centre offers a series of Summer Day Camps designed to provide young people with creative, engaging experiences in the performing arts.

The program includes three one-week camps for children ages 9 to 12 and a two-week intensive performance camp for youth ages 9 to 14. All camps focus on building skills in acting, movement, voice, and creative performance, while encouraging collaboration, confidence, and creativity. Programming is led by emerging and working performing artists from Sault Ste. Marie.

One-week camps run Monday to Friday and are designed as standalone experiences. Each week has its own creative focus and includes daily theatre games, workshops, and group activities, culminating in an informal showcase. These camps are well-suited to both first-time participants and returning campers.

The two-week intensive performance camp offers a more immersive, rehearsal-focused experience. Participants work together to rehearse and present a fully staged youth production in a professional theatre setting.

Campers may register for one week, multiple weeks, or the full program, with each session offering a distinct artistic focus and learning experience.
