Box Office Policies

 

Exchanges are possible for an alternate performance. The original tickets must be returned to the box office at least 24 hours prior to the event. A fee is charged for this service, and any difference in ticket cost must be paid by the ticket buyer.

Refunds: There are no refunds on tickets purchased for any performance at the John Elliott Theatre, except in the case of a cancellation of a performance.

Terms and Conditions: Tickets (other than Print-at-home tickets) are held at the box office for pick-up by default. You may request to have tickets mailed to you. The John Elliott Theatre may charge a fee for mailing tickets.
In the case of lost or stolen tickets, please contact the box office to have your tickets reprinted. There is a reprinting charge of $1.00 per ticket.

Babes in Arms: Everyone in the theatre, regardless of age, must have a ticket, including babes in arms.

Hearing Assistance: Headsets systems for the hearing impaired are available at the Box Office in the lobby.

Special Needs: The John Elliott Theatre is wheelchair accessible. Please notify the Box Office when purchasing your ticket should you require special assistance. We will be pleased to help.

Group Tickets: Special group rates may be available depending on the individual production companies. Please contact the Box Office for information.

Audience Information:

Food and Drinks: Food and beverages, with the exception of bottled water, are not permitted in the auditorium.

Recordings: The use of recording devices, including cameras, video and audio recorders, etc., is strictly prohibited.

Latecomers: Out of consideration for both performers and audience, latecomers will only be seated during an appropriate break in the performance.

Distractions: Candy wrappers, beeping watches, pagers, cell phones and BlackBerries can be very distracting for audience members and performers. Patrons are asked to turn off personal communication devices.

Smoking: The Halton Hills Cultural Centre and John Elliott Theatre are smoke-free facilities.

Liability: Ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks incidental to the performance or exhibition.

Admission: Theatre management reserves the right to refuse admission and refund the ticket price.

Strollers: Strollers and baby carriers are not permitted in the theatre.
