You know Tom Green from his innovative, anything-goes run as the most
unpredictable personality on MTV’s “The Tom Green Show,” and his unforgettable,
deliciously loony roles in the uproarious film comedies including “Road Trip.,”
“Charlie’s Angels,” “Bob the Butler,” “Stealing Harvard” and the cult classic
“Freddy Got Fingered.”
The multi-talented Canadian comedian, actor, director, and broadcaster
graced the cover of Rolling Stone, hosted “Saturday Night Live,” commandeered
the coveted guest-host chair on “Late Night With David Letterman,” and
conquered the World Wide Web with his free-wheeling wildly popular Internet
talk show. Tom is often called the godfather of the podcasting revolution, who
inspired a generation of voices to find their platform. A Crave Original
Series, Tom Green's "Funny Farm" marks the debut of Tom's co-development
deal with Bell Media. The series stars Tom Green as he engages guests in
extended, magazine-dash style interviews on his farm in rural Ontario. Each
episode features Tom hosting a variety of special guests - from stand-up
comedians, prominent celebrities, and quirky country experts - all with an
emphasis on how proud Tom is to be a Canadian.
Earlier this year Amazon Prime Video exclusively released an
unprecedented three projects from Tom which received national critical acclaim.
“This Is The Tom Green Documentary” follows Tom Green's career as a
trailblazing influence on comedy, film, television, and Internet culture. With
thousands of hours of digitalized personal footage, rare episodes, and unseen
raw footage from past series and films, the documentary captured the early days
of his humble beginnings in Canada, to stardom in Hollywood, as he goes full
circle and returns to his roots moving from his LA home to a rural farm in the
country. Tom reveals the highs and lows of his journey including his creative
process, his controversial antics, and unique brand of humor that has had a
lasting impact on a generation of comedians.
Tom’s new comedy special, “Tom Green: I Got A Mule!” showcases his
unique blend of comedy and music, highlighting his trademark willingness to
take risks, push boundaries and his ability to blend humor with heart. In “Tom
Green Country” Tom pulls up stakes and relocates from the bright lights of
Hollywood to his newly purchased country farm. Joined by his mule, donkey, two
horses and chickens the reality series gives a heartwarming glimpse into Tom’s
life on the farm.
In addition to the above three Amazon Prime
projects Tom also released his new album “Home To The Country,” available on
Spotify and all music platforms. The album is a collection of original country
music songs, and was featured as the sound track for the Prime docu-series. Tom
also performs covers of four beloved Canadian classics all recorded at the
legendary Canadian band The Tragically Hips studio The Bathouse in Bath
Ontario. Tom recently launched Tom Green Productions, Inc. and has a number of
exciting projects in production which will soon be available to share with
audiences.
