    The NBSO ushers in the spring season with its full instrumental forces. North Bay native and Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra principal oboist Erin Brophey performs Vaughan Williams’ Concerto for Oboe and Strings, and the orchestra presents Dvorak’s Symphony No. 8 in G Major (“Spring”), a work inspired by the composer’s love of the gardens, fields, and forests of Bohemia. Also featured will be the rollicking first movement of Canadian composer Kelsey Jones’ Miramichi Ballad.
