Colour Film:
Music for your mind’s eye. With songs that play like home movies rich in imagery and characters, Colour Film is the stage name of Hamilton's Matthew de Zoete. His latest release Super 8 blends pop and folk to set six of these cinematic songs in an atmospheric soundscape conjured with producer Les Cooper (Jill Barber, Good Lovelies).  Imagine Nick Drake cheering up a bit and meeting Beck.

Since 2006, de Zoete (pronounced "duh-ZOO-tuh") has released three albums under his own name and toured throughout North America and Europe.  He has shared the stage with acts such as Serena Ryder, Great Lake Swimmers, and Whitehorse, and he's performed at festivals including North by Northeast, Canadian Music Week, JUNOfest, and Stukafest (Netherlands).

In My Coma:
In My Coma was well-prepared to record their second album after high-profile shows opening for Moist at the Metropolis in Montreal and the Danforth Music Hall in Toronto. Whether opening for big acts, including a sold out show with Sum 41 at the Phoenix Concert Theatre, touring Canada east to west, and having their music featured on hit television shows like Lost Girl, In My Coma has worked hard to build a Canadian and international following. With over 12,000 fans on Facebook, their musical path has commenced. With the help of a full Factor grant (these grants are given to artists deemed to have a high potential for success based off of a random jury panel), In My Coma has finished their second album with Moist guitarist, Mark Makoway, as producer. Their new album will be released in 2017.
We are pleased to add In My Coma to the Live and Local Music Series and look forward to this acoustic show.
