Storyteller, songwriter, performer, visual artist and three-time
JUNO Award winning Canadian musician Tom Wilson teams up with a 9-piece
chamber orchestra for a special multi-disciplinary literary and musical event.
Tom uses words and music from his bestselling memoir Beautiful Scars to
tell the story of his search for identity, and the surprising discovery of his
Mohawk heritage. It is a musical journey inspired by a family history of
carefully guarded secrets and profound acts of forgiveness.
Featuring original music by Tom along with works by history’s greatest musical minds,
Tom Wilson and the chamber orchestra present a moving and at times very funny
night of steeltown secrets, Mohawk skywalkers and inspirational art.
Hamilton native Tom Wilson has
performed as a member of Junkhouse, Blackie & The Rodeo Kings as well as
his most recent incarnation, Lee Harvey Osmond.

“A helluva story. . . . Wilson has the ear
of the poet and the eye of the painter…capturing a broader cultural
moment.” —Hamilton
