Skydiggers have been a mainstay of the Canadian folk-rock music scene for over 25 years. This JUNO award-winning ensemble continues to write, record, and perform. Released this past fall, their 9th studio album, Warmth of the Sun, has been described as “beautiful, complex, timeless stuff...and unmistakably Skydiggers”. To be noted, Guelph’s own Jessy Bell Smith has been a valuable member of Skydiggers for the past several years. Her vocal contributions has only enhanced the energy and overall musicality of the band.
After touring this past November and December, the group starts up again on the road this May, joining the Cowboy Junkies at a show at Massey Hall on May 24th. The following night, on May 25th, Skydiggers make their way to the Fergus Grand Theatre for their first ever show in the Centre Wellington area.
