At just 19 years old, Sully Burrows has
quickly established himself as one of the most exciting young voices emerging
from Canadian country music. Raised in Parry Sound, Ontario, Burrows has
surpassed 15 million career streams and is nominated for Breakthrough Artist of
the Year at the 2026 CCMA Awards, making him the youngest nominee across all
categories this year.
His breakout singles have translated into
national radio success, with both “Rally Around” and “Put It On Me” reaching
#14 at Canadian Country radio. His growing list of accolades also includes
CMAOntario Breakthrough Artist of the Year, the SOCAN Young Canadian
Songwriters Award and a Top 3 finish in SiriusXM’s Top of the Country.
On stage, Burrows has built his
reputation through performances at some of Canada’s biggest country music
events, including Cavendish Beach Music Festival, Country Thunder and Big
Valley Jamboree, along with a halftime performance at the Toronto Argonauts
home opener.
Now entering his biggest chapter yet,
Burrows is building toward the release of his Leave You
Lonely EP on November 13 via North Star Records -
marking the next step for one of Canadian country music’s fastest-rising young
artists. |
