Ever wondered why you find a particular song so
compelling? Is it the melody or the harmony? The rhythm or the
quality of the voice?
One thing for sure--when a melody and lyric combine to
create a song, something unique is born. And to reveal that special
quality to the audience, singers must both understand and embody the music's
purpose. We must have the music truly within us before we can express it
outwardly. Come to think of it, that's exactly what our theme intends to
express.
