Fifty years have passed since the voice that moved millions fell silent. Yet, Umm Kulthum’s voice still echoes through the cafés of Cairo, the streets of Baghdad and Damascus, and in every Arab home.

Music Without Borders Ensemble for Arabic Music commemorates 50 years since the passing of the Star of the East, Umm Kulthum.

The concert will showcase Umm Kulthum’s masterpieces performed by the Music Without Borders Ensemble for Arabic Music, under the direction of Gaby Al Botros, featuring vocalists Najwa Tannus and Ranya Jamal.
