Rob has been involved with music all his life both personally and professionally. He began a successful career in the music business with Yamaha Canada Music Ltd. in 1971, and recently retired as Corporate Vice President. He remains a vital asset to the Corporation as Secretary of the Board of Directors.
 
Rob has a passion for the value of music in people’s lives, which has driven him to also give back to the community and society in many ways. This includes, especially advocating for quality music education for children and youth in our schools as an executive member of the Coalition for Music Education in Canada. His extensive experience in all facets of the music industry, and love of entertaining. A distinguished singer and guitarist he performs in a multitude of styles, and genres appealing to many varied music tastes.

Artemis Chartier
 
Artemis Chartier is a singer-songwriter and flute player who enjoys subtle but genuine connections with her audiences.   A high school teacher for more than 35 years, Artemis often writes and performs music which reflects the wealth of her life experience and a sincere desire to share positive messages. Her own CD is entitled "More Light".  With her musical partner, Dale Russell, Artemis co-founded the School Alliance of Student Songwriters in 2003, a free self-expression program for children.
 
Dale Russell
 
Dale Russell is a multi-talented veteran with over fifty years' experience in the music industry, and remained an integral member of The Guess Who as lead guitarist for seventeen years from 1983 until May of 2000.  
 
In each field of endeavor -- including writing, performing, producing, and arranging -- Dale has met with success and awards. He has spent the better part of his life creating, playing, and recording music for live audiences in various parts of the world, as well as for radio and television.
 
Along the way, awards in Canada such as Producer of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, and Instrumentalist of the Year have been added to Dale's long list of credits. Before joining The Guess Who in 1983, he played for names like Buddy Knox, Leslie Gore, Rosemary Clooney, Del Shannon, Bill Kinney etc., as well as with various Canadian artists, on live television series and more.
 
Having been steeped in folk music, rock ‘n roll, country, pop, and jazz has given Dale the ability to create music for many different uses including songs for other artists, jingles for radio and TV, and background music for documentaries and short films. In Nashville (2002) Dale produced the One Less Tear Project   (www.onelesstear.com ), a project to raise funds for Cancer awareness with music designed to inspire and support cancer victims and families  featuring names like Mark Slaughter, Ricochet, Kevin Sharp, Olivia Newton John, Lynyrd Skynyrd and more.
 
In 2003 along with his partner Devon "Artemis" Chartier, Dale co founded S.A.S.S. (The School Alliance of Student Songwriters) in the Durham region just outside Toronto.  Since then  S.A.S.S. has helped many young people learn the craft of song writing and life skills. Dale and Artemis continue helping with literacy and at risk. (www.sasscanada.net )
 
Dale continues producing many projects, playing with The RADD Collective, writing and performing with Artemis.
