In celebration of our country's 150th Anniversary, the Canadian Men's Chorus pays tribute to extraordinary Canadian music from sea to sea. Canadian composers, like Leonard Cohen, Eleanor Daley, Mark Sirett, Diane Loomer and others, have given us a wealth of brilliant music extolling the praises of our land, its people, and their accomplishments. Join the CMC for a Canadian celebration.
The Canadian Men’s Chorus is a highly accomplished Toronto chamber choir, performing works from classical and other genres. The CMC is known for its musicality and the ability to take the audience on an emotional journey. Commissioning new Canadian music is a major focus of our mandate with over thirty premieres, many of which have been published. Co-founded in 2010 by Greg Rainville and Arlene Jillard, CMC presents an annual concert series and has performed at Stratford Summer Music, the Gravenhurst Opera House and with the Stratford Symphony Orchestra. The CMC has also performed for various charities and fundraisers including Out of the Cold, the Epilepsy Foundation, LOFT Community Services and the Make A Wish Foundation.
