Hannah Lucas-Brouwer is a Lindsay, Ontario based Soprano. She has earned both a Bachelor of Music in Performance (Honours) and a Masters of Music in Performance and Literature from Western University. She most recently performed the role of First Lady in Opera Kelowna’s production of Mozart’s The Magic Flute. Other roles include The Governess in Britten’s Turn of the Screw in Lucca, Italy and Clorinda in Rossini’s La Cenerentola with UWOpera. She has participated in opera programs across the country, from Opera Nuova in Edmonton, Alberta to Opera on the Avalon in St. John’s, Newfoundland. Hannah represented Ontario at the Federation of Canadian Music Festival’s National competition, placing second in 2014. She is currently at home raising her two children, and is thrilled to have this opportunity to perform at the Academy Theatre where she spent endless hours through her teenage years.
