Grenville Pinto, (a.k.a. G Pinto) kicks off the program for his first visit to The Stephen Leacock. A violin virtuoso who has travelled the world delighting his audiences both large and small. G Pinto isn’t just a violinist. He’s so much more. A complete musician. A showman. An entertainer. Fun. Class. A true artist…
Toronto violinist G Pinto performs professionally across North America and Internationally for special events and concerts. His wide repertoire of music, bubbling personality, and love for entertaining others, are just a few reasons that will make this afternoon a memorable occasion!
Experience Grenville’s versatility. Although classically trained, his broad repertoire includes: Popular Music, Rhythm & Blues, Opera, Contemporary, Easy Listening, Hip Hop, and Rock.
Voices Alive, a 50-voice ladies choir, under the musical direction of Mary Bennet. Voices Alive, will delight your ears as they too welcome spring, for the second half of the concert. Their name says it all. Choir members are from across the region but based nearby in Newmarket, Ontario. The choir’s repertoire will have us all in the mood for spring and summer that lies just ahead. This is from Mary, “We are a group of ladies who love to sing. We enjoy a dynamic variety of music from many different genres including pop, folk, jazz, country and indie alternative, spanning many decades.”
