Title:
Yuk Yuk's on Tour
Venue: Capitol Theatre
3 Great artists, 2 Great causes makes for 1 Great evening filled with laughter from beginning to end!
The evening will feature some of Yuk Yuks’s best comedians each with their own unique style and talent - we even have a Veterinarian! The evening's artists include:
Hailing from the East Coast of Canada, Kyle Hickey has truly been making a name for himself as one of the top rising comedians in the country, entertaining audiences with his clever joke-writing and natural charisma. Kyle's stand-up can often be heard on SiriusXM's channel, Canada Laughs, playing bits from his debut album Experimental Phase which went to number one on iTune's in its first week of being released.
Ted Morris always looks like he's having the most fun in the room when he's on stage. His intelligent, off-beat humour and wickedly charming smile lets us all know that our slightly warped thoughts are just fine. Born in Ottawa and now making his home in Toronto, Ted discovered his love of stand-up while getting his degree in veterinary medicine. While he still spends some time working as a small animal vet, his comedy career is taking off and he has found that it's much more gratifying to "kill" on stage.
Pete Johansson has earned the title of global headlining comic. A favourite at comedy festivals, Pete is one of only three Canadians ever nominated for an Edinburgh award at the Edinburgh Fringe, and has been invited to perform from South Africa to Australia to Singapore.
Proceeds will support new equipment purchases for the Animal Shelter and community programming offered by Family Service Kent.
