Join us for a great night of music featuring hand-picked emerging and established homegrown talent with a house band made up of the area’s most highly sought-after touring and studio musicians. Be there to experience the energy, spontaneity and magic of musical cross-pollination.

Each show features both emerging and established homegrown talent, backed on-stage by seasoned industry professionals, the Mark Lalama Trio. The Mark Lalama Trio is Mark Lalama on keyboards and vocals, Davide DiRenzo on drums and vocals, and Rich Moore on bass and vocals – all in-demand session and touring musicians who have played on hundreds of stages and studio recordings with top artists ranging from Tom Cochrane to Holly Cole and just about everyone in between. This trio is fast earning a reputation as one of the most engaging and intuitive bands around, and together they create a unique brand of incredible, genre-defying original music that never fails to inspire those who are there to take it all in.

A Saskatoon native transplanted to the Niagara Region of Ontario, Roots and Blues singer Suzie Vinnick is a 3X Juno Nominee, CFMA Award winner, and a 10-time winner of the Maple Blues Award for songwriting, female vocalist, acoustic act and more. Suzie has a voice you’ve heard a thousand times and one you’ll never forget. It soars, it growls, it whispers and it shouts from a deep, deep well of emotion. The pure joy she exudes when she picks up that guitar is so worth the show.

Suzie has toured nationally with Downchild, Stuart McLean’s The Vinyl Café, the John McDermott Band and she performed for Canadian Peacekeepers in Bosnia and the Persian Gulf. She was also the voice of Tim Horton’s for 5 years. Suzie’s latest album is a full band roots and blues extravaganza entitled Shake The Love Around.

Sophia Tice developed a love of music at a very young age and, at 15 years old, she continues to follow her passion for songwriting and performing. Her influences include pop, jazz, blues and American folk styles ranging from Nina Simone to Yebba. She is a 12 time 1st place winner at competitive festivals at the Merriam School of Music in genres as diverse as songwriting, pop, jazz, classical and musical theatre, along with multiple awards for Composer of the Year and Best Vocal Performance. She also has the honour of performing as lead vocalist with Merriam’s All Star Band. Sophia has also performed numerous times with premiere Canadian tenor John McDermott (including here at BPAC!). She has also performed on the Cumberland Stage at the Toronto Jazz Festival, where she hopes to return in 2022. Sophia, a resident of Burlington, loves to give back to her community by performing in support of such charities as The Lighthouse for Grieving Children and the Special Olympics, as well as singing national anthems at charity and sporting events in Canada and the United States. Sophia’s original music can be found on SoundCloud where she posts her latest demos.
