Thibaut is an internationally renowned conductor who travels the world. After being diagnosed with leukaemia, he searches for a compatible bone marrow donor, with his search leading him to his long-lost adopted brother, Jimmy. Jimmy works in a canteen and plays the trombone in a local factory marching band.

Everything seems to set the two brothers apart, except their love of music, which plays a key role throughout the film in bridging the divides. Sensing his brother's exceptional talent, Thibaut decides to remedy the injustice of fate.

“A film about the love of music, and how two brothers vibrate with music even though life (and the adoptive families they have been given) has turned them into diametrically opposed musicians...” Andrea G. Bermejo, Cinemania (Spain)
