This rom-com follows the relationship of Naveen, an introverted doctor of marrying age, and Jay, a white man adopted by two Indian parents. The film unpacks the awkward inter-generational familial drama between Naveen, his parents, and his sister, as well as the cultural collide between the two families as Naveen brings Jay home to meet his traditional East Indian family.
